My name is Mattia Garimanno — music producer, drummer, arranger and artistic coach.
In 2011, I founded Ænima Recordings intending to create a space entirely dedicated to high-quality music production, with a clear focus on progressive rock, metal and sonic experimentation.
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with renowned Italian and international artists, including:

Ænima Recordings has gradually developed into a collaborative environment, that brings together a team of trusted professionals — all driven by the same passion for meaningful, ambitious music.
We offer a tailored, full-scale production journey: from pre-production to final mix and mastering, artistic direction, audio and video post-production, and even promotional and strategic support for project development.
Combining artistic insight with years of teaching and practical experience, we are proud to provide artists with a brand new, acoustically treated recording room a wide range of professional high-end hardware, software and instruments and a tailored, human approach — with the artist’s identity always at the centre.

With a focus on progressive and metal music, he leads each production with precision, artistic vision and a deep understanding of both the technical and creative sides of recording, supporting bands through every step — from concept to arrangement to mix — while enhancing each project’s identity and sonic character.
Samuele Forte
Recording and mixing engineer
Young but experienced, with both technical and artistic background, he brings a modern and personal approach to rock and metal productions, engaging with artists and bands in an authentic, direct manner, ensuring a stimulating and professional working environment.
Emanuele Bodo
Songwriter, arranger, session guitarist
Graduated with top honors and earned a degree in Arts, Music, and Performing Arts.
With over twenty years of musical experience and a passion for great prog masterpieces, modern djent and shredding he applies all his expertise to your musical project with great professionalism and dedication.
